Welcome to Bottarga

A Unique Fine dining in the Heart of the Kitchen.

Tucked away in Brighton, we offer an intimate experience where contemporary Italian cuisine meets refined Asian influence, brought to life with native Australian ingredients. Dining with us feels like stepping into a friend’s home kitchen—if your friend were an award-winning chef.

With an open kitchen at the centre of it all, each dish is prepared in full view, blending precision, storytelling, and sensory connection.

Let us take you on a journey of flavour and craft.

WE ARE MOVING SOON

A New Home for Bottarga

This summer, Bottarga begins a bold new chapter in a space designed for connection — with our open kitchen at the heart, and the same intimacy, warmth, and refinement that define us.

After years on Martin Street, we’re stepping into our next chapter.

Our new Bay Street home will open this summer — a space created for gathering, sharing, and celebrating.

The setting may be new, but the essence of Bottarga remains:

Thoughtful dining, A sense of Ease, and A Touch of Refinement

Reservations are open as usual. Please note that from November 2025 onward, all bookings will be welcomed at our Bay Street venue.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Boon Wurrung (Bunurong) people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we gather, create, and share. We pay our deepest respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. This land always was, and always will be, First Nations land.

As immigrants, we are grateful to live, work, and build our lives on this Country. We honour the generosity of the land, the stories it holds, and the opportunity it gives us to share food, culture, and connection. It is a privilege to be here, and we are proud to contribute our part while respecting the First Nations people who have cared for this place for tens of thousands of years.
